Originally named River Oaks Park, Pumpkin Park is embracing its beloved nickname to highlight its inclusive and charming nature as a space open for all Houstonians to explore, learn, and grow.
Programing and Communication:
To implement movie nights, programming for all ages, new website, staffing, etc.
A park that supports other parks.
We are donating one dollar for every ten dollars raised to support parks in underserved communities.
Park Space Improvements:
Landscaping, picnic area, outdoor program areas, court repairs, enhanced trails and more.
Community Center Improvements:
Up-to-code, open restrooms and new plumbing, HVAC, electrical system, floors, kitchen, meeting space, etc.
